Cash Stride 1.4.1: a clearer view of your savings

One savings total, daily currency conversion, and better control when closing an account.

Keeping money in several accounts should still give you one clear picture. Cash Stride 1.4.1 brings savings balances together in your default currency and makes account management more predictable.

One total across the app

Home, Budget, and Savings now use a combined total. Daily exchange rates handle the display conversion, with saved rates available offline. Cross-currency transfers can calculate the received amount automatically, while manual entry remains available.

  • Delete a savings account by moving its balance to another account in the same currency, or removing the balance with it.
  • Future budget savings follow the destination when you move a balance. Removing the balance turns saving off for affected budgets.
  • Historical transfers and budget references remain intact.
  • Color markers make accounts simpler to distinguish.

The release notes also include a choice between the daily provider rate and an adjustable Iraqi Dinar market quote. Display conversion does not rewrite stored balances or past transfers.

These changes are documented for version 1.4.1. Check the version installed from Google Play when looking for the new controls; this entry does not confirm the rollout to every account.
