Building a high-score leaderboard for Wall Jumper

Google Play Games integration lays the groundwork for comparing your best climb with other players.

Wall Jumper’s September development update adds a Google Play Games high-score integration. It connects the game to a native leaderboard view and gives it a way to submit a player’s personal best.

Keep climbing, even offline

A failed or offline submission can be retried later. The integration uses the best saved score, so a connection problem does not have to mean losing the opportunity to submit that climb.

The implementation includes platform sign-in and an Android plugin. The setup documentation still identifies owner-side Play Console configuration as remaining work. This entry records the code milestone, rather than a public leaderboard rollout.

The core game stays a one-tap wall climber: time your jumps, avoid hazards, and try to beat your last run.
