APPS / PRE-LAUNCH

Looply 1.2.4 gets ready for Google Play

Clearer errors, larger text, fairer reservations, and stronger safety rules ahead of release.

Looply editorial artwork with an app screen preview. The preview may show an earlier app version.

Looply 1.2.4, build 8, gathers the fixes from a full review of sign-in, phone verification, listings, testing, and moderation. Looply is not yet publicly available on Google Play; Play review and release remain separate steps.

Easier to use

  • Larger text throughout, with layouts that hold up at bigger font sizes.
  • Back returns to Discover instead of closing the app.
  • Sign-in and phone-verification problems show a reason code to share with support.
  • Reminders are explained before Android asks for notification permission.
  • Profile shows the installed version, and credit history uses your local date.

Fairer testing

  • A reserved place that is not confirmed ready within 48 hours is released for another tester, with no penalty.
  • After all 14 sessions, the completion bonus is protected and added automatically.
  • Two-segment Android package names, such as com.myapp, can be listed.

A safer community

  • A suspension continues if the suspended account is deleted and signs in again.
  • Only active listings reserve a package name, and developers can request an ownership review.
  • Moderators cannot decide reports they filed, and removed listings lose their public logo.
  • Logos are size-checked before anyone downloads them.
